This conversion kit allows you to seamlessly upgrade your older Atwood water heater to a new and improved Dometic WH-6G Series water heater. The purpose of this kit is to cover the sides of the old rectangular opening that the Atwood water heater previously occupied. The purpose of this door is to allow you to gain easy access to your Dometic water heater from the exterior of your RV, making maintenance easier.The double latch design ensures a secure connection between the door and the water heater, preventing risk of losing the door while driving down the road. The kit includes two latches that are compatible with single latch water heaters
