Pioneer Arm Sets Universal Straight Sides (with hand crank)

The Carefree Pioneer manual awning is the easiest full size patio awning to operate. No need to worry about unlocking travel locks/spring mechanisms or fshing for pull straps with this awning. To open the Pioneer, simply tur the hand crank. Once it's fully open, slide teh single track slider arm up to the roller and tighten the rafter knobs. Now you can raise the roller with the lift handles to any desired pitch. It's that simple. For an exceptionally taut canopy, backwind the crank to make your canopy tight as a drum. There's never a need to re-tension your canopy. In breezy conditions, the worm gear mechanism will not allow your roller to undwind. When finished using your awning, lower the roller tube, loosen the rafter knobs and slide the rafter arms to the closed position. Just turn the hand crank in the opposite direction until the roller is tight against the coach and you're ready for travel.
